Is SkinPen Safe for You?
Safety is built into the design. I use a single-use, sterile needle cartridge for every patient, and a custom BioSheath prevents any cross-contamination. However, SkinPen isn’t the right fit for everyone. It should be avoided if you have active skin cancer, open wounds, an allergy to stainless steel, a bleeding disorder, are pregnant/nursing, or are actively using isotretinoin (Accutane). I will review all of this during your consultation to make sure SkinPen is the right fit for you.
